There are some big differences between Big Dog Little Bed Productions and your traditional wedding videographers.  Traditionally videographers have produced long videos that have continuous coverage of every moment of the ceremony, and most of the reception.  The final product was more like a movie, often requiring an hour commitment to get through all the footage.  So for many, these movies stayed on the shelves, only brought out for special occasions.

Facebook, YouTube & Vimeo have changed all this.  We rarely use the actual DVDs, but we all want to be able to share the magic of our special days with everyone that matters to us (and our 823 other friends on Facebook).  So Big Dog Little Bed Productions aims to do something different.  While you better believe we’ll be filming non-stop on your wedding day (and before, if wanted), with high quality video and audio equipment, you won’t be getting a full-length film.  What you will be getting is an edited version with artistic shots (not straight from a tripod without movement), a carefully chosen musical soundtrack, interviews and all the moments that matter most to you.

We’ll spend a while getting to know you first so we can make sure the edits represent exactly what you want from your  video, and you won’t feel like you’re missing a thing.  While you will get a Professional DVD with all edits on it, we promise it won’t be the most used part of your package.  In fact, most customers find the online version prepared for sharing is what they use the most, and find themselves watching over and over and over again.

And while Big Dog Little Bed Productions specializes in wedding videography, we would be excited to tackle any project you have in mind!

Some things to consider when thinking about what you’re looking for:

• What would you like filmed?  How long will the actual shooting take?

• What final product would you like?  (A 10-15 min. film that tells your story?  A 3-5 min. highlight film, provided online for sharing with friends and family?)

• How many copies of your DVD would you like?
