Pricing

I first started doing this whole filming thing when I discovered the fun of editing beautiful shots together to tell a story.  I became addicted to learning more about it, and began filming any and everything.  It wasn’t to make money, it was to learn new things, film new people, and tell new stories.

It’s for this reason that Big Dog Little Bed Productions doesn’t actually  have ‘Pricing Packages’.  I know the value of my work, and more importantly the priceless value of the finished product.  But as someone with a full-time job that I love, working with people and students that are changing the world, the cost of a project can depend on a lot of factors.  These include time of year, amount of shooting time, length of the final product, my availability, and the amount of other projects I have on my plate.

So Big Dog Little Bed pricing works like this:

• Step 1: Decide what you’re looking for.  This includes what you want shot, how many days and hours will be spent shooting, length of the final edit, how many hard copies you want, etc.

• Step 2: Decide what your budget looks like.  If you have no idea what your budget looks like, or even if you want videography to be a part of your budget, contact me!  I bet I can give you a pretty good idea whether or not this is a fit for you.

• Step 3: Contact me!  This is when you and I can talk about what the perfect package looks like for your unique interests.  Keep in mind, I LOVE filming and meeting new customers, so I will always work to give the fairest price possible.

I especially love shooting and editing films for non-profits, organizations and people that are changing the world.  We as a country don’t pay these people nearly enough, so I offer some serious discounts if you can convince me you fit in this category.

Or if you teach.  Because teachers rock, and aren’t paid even close to what they’re worth.
